About This Shoe
Updated Aug 10, 2026
The 2027 edition of the Air Jordan 12 Retro 'Obsidian' brings back an original colorway of the classic silhouette. Radiating stitch lines adorn the dark navy tumbled leather upper, lined in French Blue textile and featuring contrasting white lizard-textured overlays. An embroidered Jumpman in University Blue adorns the tongue. Performance benefits include a lightweight Phylon midsole with full-length Zoom Air cushioning. Underfoot, the rubber outsole reveals an exposed carbon fiber shank plate for midfoot stability.
