About This Shoe

Released in July 2013, this special edition Air Jordan 3 Retro 'Doernbecher' was designed by Cole Johanson, an 11-year-old cancer patient at Doernbecher Hospital. The shoe features a Varsity Red diamond patterned upper with black accents and red elephant print overlays at the toe and heel. It also comes with the words “COURAGE” and “STR3NGTH” on the insole, a black and metallic silver midsole, and an icy blue translucent outsole.
