Made for big kids, the 2023 edition of the Air Jordan 4 Retro GS ‘Thunder’ brings back the coveted two-tone colorway originally released in 2006. The mid-top features a black nubuck upper with contrasting yellow accents. They land on the shoe’s molded eyelets, quarter panel and lower tongue, with the latter two components covered in black netting that reflect the AJ4’s original ’89 specs. Traditional Jumpman branding decorates the molded back tab and woven tongue tag. The sneaker rests on a yellow polyurethane midsole, enhanced with visible Air-sole cushioning and supported by a herringbone-traction rubber outsole.
