The 2026 reissue of the Air Jordan 5 Retro 'Black Carolina / Black University Blue' brings back a 2006 'UNC' colorway that originally released as part of Jordan Brand's Lifestyle (LS) series. Black nubuck is utilized on the upper, accented with contrast stitching and equipped with translucent quarter panel netting. University Blue textile lines the collar, matching the embroidered Jumpman that adorns the heel. A second Jumpman icon decorates the silver reflective tongue. The sneaker is mounted on a black polyurethane midsole with white shark tooth detailing and a visible Air-Sole unit in the heel. A translucent herringbone-pattern rubber outsole provides grippy traction underfoot.
