The Dingyun Zhang x adidas Samba 'Core Black' makes over the iconic silhouette in partnership with the groundbreaking Chinese designer. Inspired by the 2006 adidas Predator Absolute cleat, the streamlined silhouette features a black patent leather upper with stitched three-stripe branding and a tonal suede toe cap. A puffy nylon collar references skate culture in the 2000s, when box cutters were used to convert high-top skate shoes into low-tops. A rubber sole unit maintains the monochrome aesthetic.
