About This Shoe

Updated Aug 4, 2026

The black and metallic silver Air Jordan 5 was one of four original colorways released in 1990 and was first brought back in retro form in 2000. Staying true to the original, the shoe sports black nubuck uppers with the reflective tongue, and the NIKE AIR logo stitched on the heel. Other identifying features include metallic silver midfoot netting, a speckled shark-tooth pattern midsole, and clear translucent herringbone patterns on the forefoot and heel of the outsole.
