The Nike Ja 4 'Jaws' pays homage to the apex predator of the seas. The foam upper is enveloped in a textured haptic overlay, treated to a gradient blue finish and accented with a gleaming reverse Swoosh on the lateral side. Wrapping up the midfoot is the TPU JA-Frame for improved stability and containment during quick cuts on the hardwood. Atop the tongue, a graphic depicting gaping shark jaws frames Ja's personal logo in red. In a departure from the Ja 3's hybrid ZoomX foam cushioning, the shoe's successor shifts to a Cushlon 3.0 midsole, which works in tandem with a SPRPWR sockliner.
