Verified Marketplace: No Fixed Processing Fee
StockX does not publish a fixed buyer fee on the Verified Marketplace. What you pay is calculated for each order from the item's price, your location and current market conditions, and StockX shows the figure before you confirm the purchase.
This is the detail most fee guides get wrong. The flat processing fee they quote is not a StockX rate, so any total built on it will not match your checkout, and two orders at the same price can carry different fees. The only reliable number is the one shown on your own order.

Listings Marketplace: 3% Processing
The Listings Marketplace is separate from the Verified Marketplace, and it does publish a rate: buyer processing is a flat 3% of the item price, with a minimum of $3.95. Verification of a Listings Marketplace purchase is optional and costs a flat $12.50.
Shipping Is Quoted at Checkout
Buyer shipping varies by the size, weight and category of what you are buying, so there is no single figure to quote. StockX shows the exact shipping cost before you confirm.
No Sales Tax in Most States
StockX only charges sales tax in states where they have a physical presence. Most buyers do not pay sales tax on StockX purchases, saving an additional 5-10% compared to retail purchases.

Levels are earned per calendar quarter on either a sales count or a sales value, whichever you reach first. The US minimum seller fee is $5.00, and minimums vary by region.
Payment Processing Fee
StockX charges 3% payment processing on every Verified Marketplace sale, separately from your seller-level commission. Choosing a slower payout method changes when the money arrives, not what you pay.
That is why the all-in cost is 12% at Level 1 and 10% at Level 5, rather than the commission alone.
