About This Shoe

In 1990, Tinker Hatfield designed four colorways that would later be used to create the Air Jordan 5. This previously unreleased original colorway was intended to be sold alongside the other OG colorways, but was never released. In 2015, Jordan Brand revisited the Midnight Navy color scheme, now referred to as the ‘Pre Grape.’ The sneaker features a synthetic perforated paneling on the midfoot for breathability, toggle lacing system, padded collar and tongue, and turquoise accents. The mid top also sports a partially encapsulated Air unit for cushioning.
