Releasing under the auspices of Jordan Brand’s Wings program, the Air Jordan 5 Retro Low Wings ‘Class of 2020-21’ pays tribute to a new crop of graduates. The low-top silhouette carries a formal all-black upper constructed from textile and nubuck. Metallic gold Jumpman branding on the tongue is matched by ‘20’ and ‘21’ embroidered on the lateral heel of each shoe. A lace adornment is made to resemble a graduation cap tassel, while a graphic on the sockliner draws inspiration from a diploma seal. Lightweight cushioning is provided by a matching black polyurethane midsole, accented with gold shark tooth detailing and supported by an icy translucent outsole.
