The Joe Freshgoods x New Balance 9060 ‘Penny Cookie Pink’ is taken from the ‘Inside Voices’ pack, the Chicago-based designer’s follow-up to his ‘Outside Clothes’ collaboration from 2021. This joint venture introduces a new silhouette that blends influences from the iconic 990 series with classic running shoes from the early 2000s. The upper combines breathable pink mesh peach-colored suede overlays and a quilted textile lining. Branding elements include a pink ‘N’ logo and ‘Inside Voices’ embroidered across the back heel of the left and right shoe. Lightweight cushioning arrives via a split ABZORB midsole, supported underfoot by a podular outsole in gum rubber.
