Releasing as part of a capsule collection with the enduring Japanese streetwear brand, the BAPE x New Balance 57/40 ‘Green’ dresses the retro-inspired lifestyle runner in lush earth tones. The upper combines khaki mesh with suede overlays in varying shades of green. Oversized ‘N’ logos are finished in a green and brown ABC Camo print, while woven tongue tags feature mismatched Ape Head and Flying NB graphics. Asymmetrical branding continues on the lateral heel of each shoe, highlighted by a second Ape Head logo and ‘A BATHING APE’ inscription in block lettering. A stacked EVA midsole is reinforced by a durable rubber outsole with outdoor lugs inspired by the original 574.
